This edition packages the original Daily Red game in a new static website, with independently written guides and a new visual presentation.

The original game

Created by amoi-builds. The Daily Red source patch builds on pret/pokefirered. The game runs through Nostalgist, RetroArch and the mGBA core compiled to WebAssembly.

Software, fonts and artwork

The site bundles fixed-version emulator files and retains the upstream license information. Outfit and Pixelify Sans are distributed under the SIL Open Font License. GSAP and ScrollTrigger provide the website's motion; their license is included with the bundled files.

The Pokémon sprites and original game assets belong to their respective owners. The decorative snowy-summit cover was generated for this website; the actual game uses its original compiled graphics.

References and corrections

Game rules and opponent sets are researched from the original source. The website's information architecture is inspired by dailyredgame.org; page copy is independently written for the version playable here.
